Our professional dog training revolves around patience, relationships and clarity.
Is professional dog training right for me?
Our dog training will teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog and consistently reinforce good behavior. It’s a long-term solution to help you and your pet not only coexist, but enjoy life together.
We’ll work with you to teach your dog better manners and will incorporate your entire family too.
It requires hard work and initiative on your end. If you’re in it for the long haul and are ready to put in some work with our coaching, you’ll be well on your way to a more peaceful existence with your pup.
With consistency and practice, you’ll have the kind of relationship with your dog you never thought you could have.
Many people come to us frustrated, with a new puppy or dog, and at their wit’s end. But when they listen and use the skills we teach, they end up with a dog that even impresses the vet.
Is your training suitable for my dog?
We’ve worked with family pets, working dogs, “temperament dogs,” show dogs and more. We won’t use any harmful training devices, but rather, we’ll use communication and practice to teach your dog. If you’re concerned about a specific issue and aren’t sure if we can help, simply contact us here.
What is needed from me to be successful?
Our dog training requires that you be teachable and willing to put the work in. You should want to understand how to communicate with your dog. This training is about consistency. You’ll need to give your dog time to learn and understand.

10+ years experience
I was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have a B.S. in biology as well as an MBA. Previously, I had a desk job in the corporate world — managing projects for a defense company and then managing finances for an airline. During this time, I trained and competed with dogs as much as I could in my spare time.
Interacting with dogs has always been a passion of mine. Their joy and enthusiasm for life is contagious. Now with over 10 years of professional dog training experience, my goal is to help dogs and their owners maximize life’s joys together.
Paws to Consider was the name I came up with when I was only 11 years old, dreaming of one day training dogs. The core meaning comes from encouraging people to pause and consider the dog at the other end of the leash. Since launching my business, it is now my reminder to pause and consider the humans on the other end of the leash just as much.
I’m committed to client dogs for their lifetime and maintain a transparent process with an open line of communication with clients.
